Tove Hummel (1939–) is a Danish visual artist.

She was born in Dresden , the daughter of the German priest Siegbert Hummel and the later writer Ditte Cederstrand (1915–1984). In 1944, Cederstrand moved back to Denmark with her two children, ^[ 3 ] where Tove grew up.

Tove Hummel trained as a potter at Kongsberg in the years 1953–59 with Rolf Hansen , and at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in the years 1961–66, 1971. She made her debut at the Kunstnernes Efterårsudstilling in 1961 and has since exhibited at e.g. Charlottenborg Spring Exhibition , Kunsthallen Nikolaj , Vejen Art Museum , Kunsthalle Rostock and others.
