A North African city with a very Parisian feel. Whitewashed Haussmannian facades, blue-painted shutters, dizzying heat, a slightly sulphurous atmosphere. From the bustling arcades rises a delectable scent of white flowers, privet flower, wild jasmine, lemon, neroli with spicy acidic notes of a hint of chili essence.

The formulation of the wax is unique, vegetable with a touch of beeswax. Free of paraffin or derivatives from petrochemicals and therefore of soot release, its texture of exceptional suppleness and tenderness is the guarantee of its purity. The long-worked wax is perfectly miscible with the perfume and restores it perfectly hot and cold. The wick, woven in pure cotton, ensures a traceless, durable and perfect combustion of 60 to 70 hours depending on the scents. The artisanal blown glass cups are made in Tuscany. Their slightly gray transparent color and their light bubbles give them a unique and timeless appearance. The labels as well as the packaging are printed in lead, with old presses, by SAIG, one of the last typographic workshops in the world.

Astier de Villatte's candles are free of paraffin, and other petrochemical byproducts. The mixture of soy oil, secret plant ingredients and a smidgeon of bees wax, formulated by their master candle-maker in the south of France, is perfectly adapted to the scent.
