Colors Tell A Story: The BON TON goods Transformation
At BON TON goods, we wanted to bring the hues of the Sound into our shop. As lifelong water people—always drawn to the sea, marinas, and port cities—it was essential to surround ourselves with those tones in our space.
We created a palette of seven colors inspired by British-based Farrow & Ball, ensuring that the new shop’s layout and ambiance would be defined by these carefully chosen hues.
When we signed the lease for our new premises, we knew we were undertaking a significant transformation. The original ceilings had been hidden for decades, requiring both demolition and meticulous restoration to honor the building’s 1890s heritage. Through this process, we uncovered stunning arches and architectural details, which we carefully brought back to life.
