About Us

We opened our doors October 1, 2021 and have since delightfully grown our Interior Selection here in Scandinavia, on Kalendegatan in Malmö, Sweden. We moved to our. new Baltzarsgatan 41 in 2025. We represent 30 plus makers from all over Europe and the States, but our curation has no national boundaries, we stock that which inspires us.

Our focus is craftsmanship and our philosophy is that our goods should last for generations or our estate pieces should find new homes. We have a big heart and we also hope that our pieces become small, sentimental objects that are cherished and adored.

Last year, after one year in business, we were honored to be awarded the BEST SHOP in Skåne by SydSvenskan and Magasinet SKÅNE .

Our Home and Neighborhood

BON TON goods is located in Malmö's historical Gamla Staden, below the 14th century St. Peter's Church and around the corner from Stortorget on Baltzarsgatan.

Bon Ton, or le bon ton is an expression of good form, manners, and style used in both Regency England and later in early 19th Century High Society as an ideal of the beau monde or “the beautiful world”.

It is also closely related to the Louisiana (French-Cajun) expression “bons temps rouler” (or “laissez les bons temps rouler”) - an expression of exuberant joie de vivre - the enjoyment of life and an exultation of spirit.
